Day 108/365…in my hood…may 21, 2010

Today my school, TTUHSC School of Allied Health, had its unofficial graduation and hooding ceremony. Since the Health Sciences Center has LARGE schools with various programs, they have these more “formal and intimate” ceremonies the day before the real graduation. Basically, today students were hooded and recognized; we did walk, but have not received a diploma – that happens tomorrow, Saturday. I still have yet to decide if I want to attend the graduation – this will be a LONG 4 hours where all that will happen is everyone walks across and receives their diplomas; and actually, diplomas are handed out AFTER the graduation ceremony. But, with my dad here, I am sure I will walk.

Anyway, I decided to wear my TTU ring from my undergrad. I didn’t get one for my Masters because the rings would have extremely similar, plus I hardly wear my undergrad so I’d rather spend the money elsewhere. But, I did think it would be a fitting POTD since I did (unofficially) graduate today –
