bosque park photo workshop. february 7, twenty thirteen.

A few weeks ago, I helped out with a “Photo 101” workshop at the Mesilla Valley Bosque State Park. It was basically helping people learn how to better use their cameras and improve the photos they take. It was a smaller class, around 10 or so, which allowed for a lot of hands-on type teaching. The workshop was held at the Bosque State Park; sadly because it was “winter,” most of the plant life was dead and dried out…even the Rio Grande is more of a dirt road than a river at the moment…but people still managed to get some shots.

While out helping the participants, I managed to grab a couple of quick shots when I could; converted a couple into black and white while playing around with Sliver Efex Pro for fun…
