209/365. Imagination station.

Went to Hobby Lobby this afternoon and took my camera. There are so many things to take pictures of at HL and sometimes you need to use your imagination and look at things differently. HL already has Christmas stuff out, so there’s even more to play around with. Saw this bow and I knew I wanted to try something different; dropped my aperture to f/1.8 and had some fun…

208/365. What a deal!

If you’ve ever been out snapping photos with me – or if you are a regular viewer of this lovely blog – you know I tend to find random things to take pictures of. Very random. Signs are also always an interest. The more random, the better.

I was driving around after shooting some arrows and found this. I don’t know what “5 OPCT” is, but it sounds like a great deal! 🤓🙃

I have always related to Eeyore.

206/365. Untitled Flower(s).

Nothing fancy to say. Been wanting to take some shots of these for a while; will probably attempt again when I get a macro lens.

205/365. Reading Rainbow.

So I hurt myself at the gym this afternoon. Nothing serious at all, just pushed myself harder than my body wanted and now I’m regretting it. I have been sitting on the couch since I got home and reading and watching Shark Week. Since I want to make sure I keep up with this project, I thought I would just take a quick snap of what I’m currently reading; I know it’s not the most exciting thing, but it’s something.

204/365. The F Word.

Film. My second favorite, four-letter F word.

I have been shooting film for over 25 years and still do whenever possible. Nowadays, I prefer to load up a roll in my Holga 135BC and go explore; yes, I have Canon film cameras and even a few old Minoltas that I use from time to time. But there is something about the look you get from Holgas that I just love. Also, there is nothing to mess with on the Holga, you just point and click and move on to the next frame.

Despite all the “newness” and conveniences that you get with digital cameras these days, you can always find a loaded Holga in my bag, ready to go.

203/365. Single puffy clouds.

I was driving back from El Paso earlier today and I looked up and saw this single puffy cloud. It has been super hot here (100+ degrees daily) and very little cloud coverage, so any bit is a great thing. Plus, I really like seeing these solitary clouds for some reason.
